What counts as a person?
Anyone in the workspace. You alone is free forever; the second person is what needs a plan.
What happens if I stop paying?
Nothing gets deleted and nothing stops running. You just cannot add more people until the plan is active again.
Do I pay for the machines?
Not if they are yours. Workers you run cost nothing, however many you connect. Only managed production capacity is billed.
